First Hybrid Kick-Off Event 2021

DHC Vekol was challenged to create and develop the concept that will set the new business chapter for the company, keep the spontaneous, fundamental nature of in-person events and stand side by side to traditional gatherings regarding audience engagement and participation.

For the Serbian oldest pharma&healthcare “love brand” we came up with the unique learning and entertainment concept, co-located on a multi-stage platform and produced in a way similar to a TV talk show. DHC Vekol provided an in-house professional host for a full moderation: dedicated to the remote audiences to ensure engagement and carefully glue together the program. In between sessions, attendees had the opportunity to experience a custom-designed performance by The Big Band (Dejan Petrović) and a laser harp – a new generation, light-sensitive electronic musical instrument.

Four cargo trucks full of AV equipment were unloaded to the Crystal ballroom of Hyatt Regency Belgrade, three parallel TV studios were set next to each other and communicated through three separate direction utilities while 12 cameras transmitted the signal on 14 m2 of LED screens

Audience journey was brought to the climax by the guest-star and pop-icon Steven Twohig – one of the America’s most popular motivational speakers and founding member of The Forbes Coaches Council – who tuned in live from San Diego for an exclusive master class on psychology of leadership.

We also developed an intertwined net of closed meeting rooms, where participants were split during the final event phase for a teamwork session and co-working.

As for the technical execution, during these two days over 100 people worked hard on the realization of the event. Four cargo trucks full of AV equipment were unloaded to the Crystal ballroom of Hyatt Regency Belgrade. Three parallel TV studios were installed next to each other, which communicated through three separate simultaneous utilities. Twelve cameras transmitted the signal on 14 m2 of LED screens. The creative team worked for months to design a special user experience for the attendees witnessing the event on their smart devices, while on-site attendees were greeted by a range of innovative features introduced to maximize visitor safety.
